Recruitment Information
A LETTER FROM OUR MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN:
Dear Potential New Member,
We are so excited about your interest in going through Formal Recruitment at Oklahoma State! The OSU Panhellenic system host Formal Recruitment over the course of one week, including an event in which women will be introduced to each chapter at OSU. Throughout the year, many chapters also participate in fall and spring Continuous Open Bidding Recruitment. This process is less formal but is just as important, and many women find their homes in the OSU Greek system this way! We are very passionate about Recruitment and the opportunities it provides us by adding new members to our chapter and welcoming sisters into the ZTA family.
OSU has earned the title of the Best Panhellenic System in the Nation! We believe that every woman can find her home in OSU Greek Life and are excited for your journey to begin here. As a potential new member, it is important to be yourself, enjoy the week, and trust that the recruitment process will help you in finding your home.
The reasons why each of us joined Zeta Tau Alpha are all different, but they all have one thing in common - we each felt that in Zeta Tau Alpha, we could be our true authentic selves. Here is a short message from our recruitment chair, Kim Lloyd, expressing all that Zeta has to offer:
"As a Potential New Member, I had no idea what I was getting myself into in the beginning stages of Formal Recruitment. I didn’t know that, when I drove by that turquoise door during orientation, I was looking at my future home. I had no clue that when I walked into Zeta for the first time during Open Round of recruitment, I was seated two chairs away from my Big Sister. I didn’t realize that the PNM I walked past on the street in a hurry to get to the next chapter on my schedule would become my best friend and my roommate. I remember seeing so many confident women and felt inspired. Little did I know, the same confidence would find me as well as I stepped into the most authentic form of friendship and love I had ever experienced. Authenticity is hard to come by, but we seem to have hit the jackpot. I had no clue as to a Potential New Member that I would become the Vice President of Membership and take on planning this entire process. As a woman of Zeta Tau Alpha, I am proud to lead our chapter through recruitment as we join together to Seek the Noblest and continue filling our organization with incredible women.
Zeta Love and Mine,
Kim Lloyd
